Story Telling
Final

For this piece I wanted to create a photo that would beg the question why? What is the reason behind this photo? I feel like a teddy bear that is out of its normal environment of a bed creates those questions. Who owns the bear? Was the bear loved? Where did the bear live? What happened? Why is the bear in a forest? All of these questions pop in my mind as I hope others do too. This question and wondering is something I’ve learned to enjoy doing when viewing art and I hoped to rather allude to a meaning of a photo rather than pointing it which I believe the meaning is very hidden in this picture.
The bear has no story, there is no reason he is there, no deeper meaning. The meaning is up to the viewer, there are a million different reasons for this picture and even the true meaning is not there, the possible explanations for this odd photo is purely to have others create possible explanations.
